Pomegranate | Beeswax Candle
Pomegranates are such beautiful fruits, smooth and sturdy on the outside, hiding a treasure of jewel-like seeds inside.
We wanted to capture that beauty in a form that is both sculptural and burns slowly.. This candle is made to cast a warm scarlet light as the flame gently illuminates the wax from within, like a glowing heart revealed over time.
The pomegranate, with its crimson seeds, speaks of life’s cycles, fertility, abundance, death, and renewal. In the old myth, Persephone, daughter of Demeter and Zeus, was both the maiden of Spring and the Queen of the Underworld. Taken by Hades and tricked into eating six pomegranate seeds, she was bound to spend part of each year below the earth. In her absence, Demeter grieved, and winter came. But when Persephone rose again, the flowers bloomed, and the world was made new, turning ever onward in the rhythm of the seasons.

Candle Safety: Please burn your candles with care. Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it away from children and pets and place candles on a suitable surface as they may drip. Please also be cautious if burning in the wind, the candles will drip and burn faster.
About our Beeswax Candles: Creating coloured candles has always been a dream of ours. But with so many dyes on the market containing harmful ingredients, we were cautious about taking that step. We're now thrilled to offer our 100% beeswax candles in beautiful hues, using just a tiny amount (around 0.5%) of specially formulated non-toxic vegetable and mineral-based pigments.
Beeswax is a remarkable gift from nature. It’s created by honeybees as they build their hives, and after the honey is harvested, the wax remains - a beautiful, sustainable by-product. Beeswax is known for its clean, non-toxic burn. It emits negative ions that may help neutralise pollutants in the air. And it’s long-lasting too, beeswax was even found in ancient Egyptian tombs dating back to 1550 B.C.
